These Terms and Conditions govern your use of regal ridul' website and car rental services. By accessing our services or renting a vehicle, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to premium car rental services provided by regal ridul
  • "User" or "Renter" means any person accessing our website or renting vehicles
  • "Vehicle" includes all cars, SUVs, and automobiles available for rent
  • "Rental Period" means the duration between vehicle pick-up and return
  • "We/Us/Our" refers to regal ridul, operating in Kuwait
  • "Agreement" means the rental contract signed between parties

2. Eligibility and Requirements

Age Requirements

  • Renters must be at least 21 years old
  • Drivers under 25 may be subject to young driver surcharges
  • Some premium vehicles require minimum age of 25
  • Additional drivers must meet the same age requirements

Documentation Required

  • Valid Kuwaiti driving license for residents
  • International driving permit for foreign visitors
  • Valid passport and visa (for non-residents)
  • Civil ID for Kuwaiti residents
  • Valid credit card in renter's name

Account Registration

Users must provide accurate information including:

  • Full legal name as appears on documents
  • Current contact information
  • Accurate address details
  • Valid payment information

3. Rental Agreement Terms

Reservation and Booking

  • Reservations are subject to vehicle availability
  • Confirmed bookings require advance deposit
  • We reserve the right to refuse service for any legitimate reason
  • Pricing may vary based on season and demand
  • Special service packages have specific terms and conditions

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at time of vehicle collection
  • Security deposit required (refundable upon proper return)
  • Additional charges apply for late returns, damage, or violations
  • Fuel policy requires return with same fuel level as at pick-up
  • All prices are in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) unless otherwise stated

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours before pick-up: Full refund
  • Cancellations 24-48 hours before: 50% of rental fee charged
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours: No refund
  • No-shows result in full charge
  • Special packages may have different cancellation terms

4. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

Permitted Use

  • Vehicles may only be driven on paved roads in Kuwait
  • Use must comply with all Kuwait traffic laws and regulations
  • Only authorized drivers listed in agreement may operate vehicle
  • Vehicle must be used for personal or business transportation only

Prohibited Activities

Renters may NOT:

  • Drive vehicle outside Kuwait borders without written permission
  • Use vehicle for racing, towing, or off-road driving
  • Transport illegal substances or engage in illegal activities
  • Allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle
  • Smoke in vehicles designated as non-smoking
  • Transport pets without prior approval and appropriate carriers
  • Sublease or rent vehicle to third parties
  • Modify or tamper with vehicle in any way

5. Insurance and Liability

Insurance Coverage

All rentals include basic insurance coverage:

  • Third-party liability insurance as required by Kuwait law
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) options available
  • Theft protection coverage
  • Personal accident insurance options

Renter Responsibilities

  • Renter is responsible for all traffic violations and fines
  • Damage not covered by insurance is renter's responsibility
  • Report all accidents to police and regal ridul immediately
  • Do not admit fault or liability at accident scene
  • Deductibles apply according to chosen coverage level

6. Vehicle Condition and Returns

At Pick-Up

  • Inspect vehicle thoroughly and note any existing damage
  • Verify fuel level and mileage readings
  • Check that all equipment and accessories are present
  • Report any discrepancies immediately

At Return

  • Return vehicle at agreed location and time
  • Vehicle must be in same condition as provided
  • Fuel tank must be at same level as at pick-up
  • Late returns incur additional daily charges
  • Vehicle must be clean; excessive cleaning fees may apply

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

No Warranties

Vehicles are provided "as is" with no warranties beyond those explicitly stated. While we maintain vehicles to high standards, we cannot warrant that vehicles will be error-free or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the rental fees paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of business, revenue, or data.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, war, strikes, or government actions.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate rental agreements immediately if:

  • Vehicle is used in violation of these terms
  • Renter provides false information
  • Vehicle is not returned on time without prior arrangement
  • Payment obligations are not met
  • Renter engages in illegal activities

Upon termination, renter must return vehicle immediately. No refund will be provided for terminated rentals due to violations.

9. Dispute Resolution

Initial Resolution Attempts

Any disputes should first be addressed through direct communication with our customer service team. We commit to good faith efforts to resolve concerns promptly.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kuwait. Any legal proceedings must be filed in Kuwait courts.

Jurisdiction

You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Kuwait courts for resolution of any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services.

10. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time to reflect:

  • Changes in our services or business practices
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  • Industry standards and best practices

Material changes will be notified through our website or direct communication. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These terms, together with the rental agreement, constitute the entire understanding between parties.

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right does not constitute waiver of that right.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent.
